The
EBRD Business Advisory Services Programme for Armenia is coordinated
with national governmental agencies and centres dedicated
to industrial development in general and SME development in
particular.
|
|
|
|
|
|
SME development state policy is concentrated on
the utilisation of SME sphere potential and enhancing
of its role in economic, social and political
development of the Republic of Armenia. The functions
of SME development are reserved to the department
of SME development within the Ministry of Trade
and Economic Development of RA.
The main tasks of the
department are:

creation
of favourable framework for establishment and
further development of SME's
|
|
assistance
for increasing the number of SME's, thus creating
new work-places and extenuating the social tension
in the country
|

and Medium Enterpreneurship Development National Center
of Armenia is a non-commercial, public-private partnership
organisation.
To support economic, social and political development
in Armenia, the mission of the SME DNC is to support
SME's, represent and advocate for their interests by
serving as a liaison between the government, business
community and other partners, and implement SME state
policies.
